Extra curricular fun!
Episcopalians know how to fellowship as well as worship together. There is always something interesting going on.
Here are a few examples:
The women of the church give a Ladies Tea in the Spring. Each table is separately hosted and the hostess decorates in whatever style she chooses. Friends are invited and there is usually a guest speaker.
The 2nd annual women's retreat was another huge success. The theme this year was Café Chocolate. We descended on the tiny town of Edom Texas and much worship, fun and fellowship was had by all. Our mission gift this year was making blankets for the home bound and nursing home residents.
The Ladies Tea
Not to be outdone, the men arranged their own retreat. They spent a weekend at Camp All Saints, hammering, sawing, cleaning, making it ready for the youth to enjoy.
Late in the summer is the time for Vacation Bible School. Last year our children took a journey through the Old Testament. They learned songs, did crafts and ate food all related to ancient times. Each day they visited Moses tent and heard all about his adventures. At the end of the five day session they sang songs for their parents during the Sunday morning service, followed by lunch for everyone.

In October there is a special service just for our beloved pets. It is held outside and each pet has the chance to be individually blessed. The pets get a bandana and treats, so everyone goes home happy.
I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream!! The ice cream social was a sweet success. Let's do it again soon.
